Sea passenger traffic drops by 6% in Nov

A total of 0.8 million persons were transported in sea passenger traffic in November 2023, according to Statistics Finland.

Compared with November 2022, the number of passengers decreased by six per cent and compared with November 2019, which is considered as pre-pandemic level, the number of passengers was, however, just 67 per cent.

In all, 438,401 passengers travelled between Finland and Estonia, 384,071 passengers between Finland and Sweden and 5,979 passengers between Finland and Germany.

In November 2023, no passengers of foreign cruise ships arrived in Finland.
