Glitch disrupts VR’s online ticket service

The national railway operator VR Group’s online shop experienced service disruptions on Saturday and Sunday due to a technical glitch.
The disruptions were related to the delivery of tickets bought online to customers’ email addresses.
According to VR, the problem was caused by a failure of the email proxy server.
On Saturday, the problem had slowed down the ticket service; however, on Sunday, the delay lasted for up to 12 hours.
The problem was resolved on Sunday.
