Trail communications remained suspended in southern Finland for about one and a half hours late Wednesday night due to technical glitch in the Finnish Transport Agency’s control system.
Sources at the national railway operator VR said that the disruption started at about 7:05 pm and continued till 8:40pm due to failure in the traffic control system resulting of more than 30 trains stopping in different routes.
“The glitch took place at 7:05 pm and disrupted the rail communications for one and a half hours,” Janna Viisterä from VR media desk told Daily Finland, adding that the train schedules will be delayed for next few hours due to the disruption.
Viisterä, however, assured that normalcy in rail schedule will be restored by tomorrow morning.
