Mild weather ahead

The weather this week is dry in many places but still chilly, according to the national broadcaster Yle.

A trough of low pressure area is hovering above the country bringing more cold air from the north.

Day temperatures are between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. Rains are forecast to go away; however, rain showers may appear on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The air may warm up a little bit over the weekend and the mercury may rise above 20 degrees Celsius.

There is however, a huge temperature variation between eastern and western Finland.
