Uncertain weather forecast for Midsummer

Uncertain weather is forecast for the Midsummer with some parts of the country expecting to recieve heavy rains, said the Met Office in a press release.

Heavy rains of up to 25 millimeters per day and thunderstorms are forecast to hit some places.

On Midsummer's Eve, rainy and cloudy zone will probably stretch from North Karelia to North Ostrobothnia, while elsewhere it will be sunny and cloudy", said Eerik Saarika,the meteorologist on duty at the Finnish Meteorological Institute.

In other areas,however, sunny are dry conditions are in store.

In cloudy areas,temperatures are expected to range between 17 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius.Other places are forecast to see temperature rise of between 20 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celcius and in the southern parts up to 25 degrees Celsius.

Despite the rains in some place, the Met Office warned that most parts of the country is still dry and thus the forest fire warning is still in place.
