Many parts of the country are experiencing slippery conditions on Friday, reported national broadcaster Yle quoting Eveliina Tuovinen from the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI).
Pedestrians especially in the coastal areas have been advised to take caution to prevent falling.
The FMI has issued warnings over slippery conditions in Southwest Finland, Satakunta, Uusimaa, Kymenlaakso, Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia and the western part of Northern Ostrobothnia
"If it at night it freezes again and it melts it will only lengthen the slippery period," Tuovinen told Yle.
Slippery condition across the country is forecast to continue until Saturday.
According to Tuovinen, a sunny weekend is on the horizon. Saturday is forecast to be mild and on Sunday the temperature will drop.
