Vessels from 11 countries arrive in Qingdao for Chinese navy anniversary

A total of 16 vessels from 11 countries arrived in the port city of Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, on Sunday to join multinational naval events commemorating the 70th founding anniversary of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy.

The vessels from Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam arrived in Qingdao starting from 8:30 a.m..

The events will be held between April 22 and 25 and a naval parade will be held in Qingdao and nearby sea areas and airspace on April 23.
