Police on Tuesday arrested a suspect described as potentially armed after Harvard University issued a "shelter in place" alert in the area of Harvard Square, local media reported.
Harvard University sent out a community alert, telling people to avoid the area of JFK and Eliot streets due to a police search for a wanted murder suspect, said a CBS report. Anyone in the area was asked to shelter in place.
After searching for about an hour, Cambridge Police took 31-year-old Sohan Panjrolia into custody, said the report.
Panjrolia was reportedly wanted for a recent murder in Philadelphia.
