Canadian Prime Minister and Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau's election plane suffered some damage in Victoria city after being hit by a media bus on Wednesday night, local media reported.
The bus drove under one of the plane wings and its top hit the wing, according to CTV.
The incident happened on the first day of the 2019 federal election race when the plane with Trudeau, his team and several journalists aboard finished traveling across the country.
The country's 43rd federal election officially kicked off Wednesday morning when Governor General Julie Payette accepted Trudeau's request to dissolve the 42nd Parliament, setting the campaign in motion.
