Three children were killed on Sunday by a fire that broke out in a refugee camp in the country's northwestern province of Idlib, reported Xinhua, quoting a war monitor.
The fire gutted two tents where the children were staying in the Salameh camp in the northern countryside of Idlib, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The UK-based watchdog group said the cause of the fire is still unknown.
It could have been a high temperate or a gas leak in the tents, the observatory speculated.
