Algeria President infected with COVID-19

The Algerian President's Office confirmed on Tuesday that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune was infected with COVID-19, reported Xinhua.
Tebboune's condition has gradually improved during his treatment in a German hospital, the Office said in a statement.
The President's Office announced on Oct. 28 that Tebboune was transferred to Germany for thorough physical examination on the recommendation of his doctors.
Tebboune was admitted to a specialized unit at a military hospital in the capital Algiers on Oct. 27.
The President began self-imposed lockdown on Oct. 24 as a contact with senior officials who had shown symptoms of COVID-19.
