Bahraini Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani said on Wednesday that his country is "fully committed" to the success of the newly signed peace deal between the two countries, reported Xinhua.

"We are genuine about this. We are fully committed," the minister told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during joint statements at the start of their meeting at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem.

Al Zayani said that following the signing of the U.S.-brokered normalization deal in September, "it's upon us now ... to move forward to facilitate that and to forge the peace by having direct and constant integration between the business communities."

"There is a huge and immense opportunity to even develop them (ties) further, not just in terms of business, but also in terms of culture, sport, exchange, tourism and hopefully, that will come very quickly," he added.

Netanyahu said that several agreements on tourism and aviation have been signed during the visit and "we have more to go."

Al Zayani arrived in Israel on Tuesday for a three-day trip, accompanied by a delegation of dozens of Bahraini trade officials and business people.
