Two Palestinians were killed and one was severely wounded on Friday morning close to an Israeli military post in the northern West Bank, reported Xinhua, quoting Israel's state-owned Kan News Friday.

The three Palestinians reportedly crossed the Israeli West Bank barrier, armed with Carlo submachine guns. They opened fire at the post located near the Arab village Salem.

In response, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers fired at the three and killed two of them. There were no Israeli casualties in the incident.

On Thursday night, Israeli troops mapped the home of the 44-year-old Palestinian Muntaser Shalabi, who according to the IDF, opened fire and killed the 19-year-old Israeli student Yehuda Guetta at the Tapuah Junction in the West Bank on May 2.

The mapping was carried out to inspect the possibility of demolishing the house located in the Palestinian town of Turmus Ayya in the West Bank.
