6.7-magnitude quake hits NZ´s Kermadec Islands

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 jolted Kermadec Islands, New Zealand at 17:05:54 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, reported Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 51 km, was initially determined to be at 30.2 degrees south latitude and 177.3 degrees west longitude.
