The British government is going to end its training of Myanmar's de-fence forces amid the Rohingya refugee crisis, sky news reported quot-ing an announcement of the British Prime Minister.
Violence in Myanmar's northern Rakhine state forced more than 420,000 Roh-ingya refugees to leave the country. They were forced to flee and cross into the neighbouring country Bangladesh.
The United Nations has described the actions of Myanmar's military in the re-gion as "ethnic cleansing", with the country's de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi coming under international pressure to halt the campaign, said the sky news report.
Speaking to Sky News at the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, Theresa May described the Government as "very concerned" about the Roh-ingya in Myanmar, also known as Burma, the report added.
