Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday condemned the latest Jerusalem attack carried out by a Palestinian who killed three Israelis and wounded a fourth.

Spokesman for the Presidency Nabil Abu Rdeineh told the Palestine radio that the president's permanent position is to condemn all acts of violence, including this operation.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday complained during a meeting with U.S. Special envoy Jason Greenblatt of the Palestinians' refusal to condemn the operation.

Abu Rdeineh, according to Palestinian News Agency, stressed that Abbas condemns any violence, regardless of its source.

Earlier Tuesday, a Palestinian attacked a number of Israeli soldiers at the entrance to the settlement of Har Adar, northwest of Jerusalem, killing three of them and injuring a fourth, before being shot dead by an Israeli army force.
