3 men stabbed in robberies in Australia

Three men were stabbed in separate robberies taking place overnight in Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland in northeastern Australia, the state police said Sunday, reported Xinhua.

The Queensland police said in a statement on Sunday afternoon that they have charged a 17-year-old boy after a man was stabbed in a robbery at Fortitude Valley, a suburb of Brisbane, during small hours on Sunday.

Police have been also investigating two similar cases in which two men were stabbed.

All the three stabbed men have been sent to hospital with no life-threatening injuries, said the police statement.
