2 killed in domestic shooting in U.S.

Two people have died in a domestic shooting Thursday night in southeast Houston, U.S. state of Texas, according to local police, reported Xinhua.

A man fatally shot his ex-girlfriend and her male cousin before turning the gun on himself, police said.

Houston police and fire departments responded to the scene and found an adult female dead with gunshot wounds at the spot. Two additional victims were found in critical condition. The male victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased.

The shooter was also taken to the hospital and might not survive, police said.

Meanwhile, two adults were injured by gunshots during a high school graduation ceremony Thursday evening in Oakland, U.S. state of California, according to police.

A man and a woman were shot while the graduation ceremony at Skyline High School in Oakland was taking place, according to a statement from the Oakland Police Department.

The two victims were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Authorities are investigating reports that a dispute preceded the shooting but no motive of the shooting was disclosed.

Police said that it appears to be an isolated incident and there are multiple suspects.
