U.S. private space company SpaceX launched 20 Starlink satellites into orbit on Friday, reported Xinhua.

According to SpaceX, the satellites were launched aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California at 6:50 a.m. Pacific Time.

Shortly after the launch, Falcon 9's first-stage booster returned and landed on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

SpaceX later confirmed the deployment of the 20 satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities.

Friday's liftoff was the 13th launch and landing for the first stage booster, according to SpaceX.
