2 killed, 1 wounded in explosion in Canada

A woman was killed and a man critically wounded by an explosion in a house in Kitchener of Canada Wednesday morning, according to CTV.
The explosion happened around 8:10 a.m. and completely levelled the home. The homes on both sides also caught fire and sustained significant damage.
Firefighters in the city were called in. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
In a separate incident, a man was killed in a shooting in Greektown of Toronto around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, one month after a mass shooting in the bustling Greektown killed two people and injured 13.
